Botox is a prescription-only treatment used to reduce movement in specific facial muscles, softening the lines that form from repeated expression. At Alien Aesthetics, every treatment begins with a consultation with one of our medical injectors, who will assess your muscle strength, movement patterns and overall facial anatomy before planning your dose.

We use the Botox® brand specifically designed for medical use, chosen for its long-established safety profile, consistency and clinical evidence.

Our approach to Botox is entirely bespoke.
Some clients prefer a softer result with controlled movement, while others choose more significant reduction for a smoother, high-control finish. We can also use targeted techniques to refine or lift areas of the face including brow lift, eye opening or chin relaxation depending on your goals.

  • Botox® is the brand name for botulinum toxin type A a highly purified medical protein that’s been used safely in healthcare for decades.
When injected in tiny, controlled doses, it relaxes specific facial muscles to soften lines caused by repeated expression, such as frowning, squinting or raising the eyebrows.

At Alien Aesthetics, every treatment begins with a consultation with one of our medical injectors, who’ll assess your facial anatomy, movement patterns and goals before planning the correct dose and injection points.

Once injected, Botox starts working by blocking the nerve signals that tell the muscle to contract.

    • You’ll notice the first changes around day 3–5

    • Full results develop by 2 weeks

    • The effects typically last 3–4 months, depending on the area and your metabolism

It doesn’t affect the rest of your face, your expressions, or your ability to feel emotion it simply calms the specific muscles contributing to lines.

  • your safety, confidence and results come first — every single time.

✔️ Consistent clinics & reliable reviews

    ✔️ A bespoke approach

Whether you prefer soft movement, a brow lift, a snatched jawline or a completely frozen finish, we tailor your dose and technique to your face not a “one-size-fits-all” template.

  • You may benefit from Botox if you:

Have lines caused by repeated expression

This includes frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet whether they’re early, mild or more established.

    Want smoother-looking skin

Botox softens movement enough to reduce creasing, helping the skin look more controlled and less lined.

Would like a brow lift or more open eye area

Strategic injection points can create subtle elevation and lift around the brows.

Experience jaw tension or teeth grinding

Masseter Botox can reduce clenching, relieve discomfort and, for some clients, create a slimmer jawline.

Struggle with migraines or tension headaches

Botox has medical applications in migraine management, and many clients notice improvement even at cosmetic doses.

    Prefer a preventative approach

Botox can help reduce the development of deeper lines by limiting repetitive movement before creases become etched.

Want refinement in the lower face

It can smooth chin dimpling, define the jawline and soften downturned mouth corners.

  • Forehead Lines: Smooth horizontal lines across your forehead caused by raising your eyebrows.

Frown Lines : Soften the vertical lines between your brows that appear when you frown.

    • Crow’s Feet: Minimise the fine lines that fan out from the corners of your eyes when you smile.

Bunny Lines: Reduce the small creases that appear on the sides of your nose when you scrunch it.

    • TMJ/Grinding: Relax the masseter muscles, reduce signs of stress within the area and possibly slim the face.

    • Neck Bands: Diminish the appearance of vertical lines on the neck and allow the jawline to be more contoured(Nefertiti lift)

    • Lip Flip: Relax the top lip to ‘flip’ it upwards showing more pink lip tissue and give the appearance of more height.

    • Gummy Smile: Relax the muscle responsible for elevating the top lip, therefore less gum shows upon smiling.

Mentalis: Minimise the appearance of ‘pebbling’ on the chin.

DAO: Depressor Anguli Oris is responsible for pulling the corners of the mouth down, relaxing this will allow the corners of the mouth to be lifted.

  • Prescription assessment (first-time clients)

Because Botox is a prescription-only medicine, your first visit includes a consultation with one of our prescribers. They’ll review your medical history, discuss your goals and confirm that Botox is the right treatment for you.

    Movement and anatomy assessment

We assess how your facial muscles move at rest and in expression. This helps us understand your natural patterns, muscle strength and where lines are forming or likely to form in the future.

    Treatment planning and marking

Your injector will map out the exact points to create a balanced result.
This includes deciding on dose, injection placement and whether you’re aiming for softening, stronger movement reduction, a brow lift or adjustments to areas like the chin or jaw.

    Your injections

The treatment itself is quick and precise. Most clients describe the sensation as a mild scratch.
You’ll leave looking almost exactly as you arrived there’s no dramatic instant change because results develop gradually.

    When the results appear

Botox begins working over the days following your appointment:

    • Initial changes: day 3–5

    • Full effect: 2 weeks

    • Longevity: around 3–4 months

    Your review appointment

For new clients, we offer a review at around 2 weeks.
This allows us to assess your result once the Botox has fully settled and make any small adjustments if clinically needed.

  • • Myth: It will make me look frozen.

Truth: Only if you want it to! Toxin is totally customisable

    • Myth: It’s only for older people

Truth: This treatment is increasingly popular among younger people as a preventative treatment to delay the onset of wrinkles.

Myth: It’s a toxin, it must be dangerous!

Truth: Botulinum Toxin has been used safely for decades and is FDA-approved for both aesthetic and medical applications. It’s probably our safest treatment!

  • Botox is the best option for clients who want to soften expression lines, prevent deeper creases from forming or refine specific areas of facial movement. It can be tailored to look subtle, controlled or high-freeze depending on your goals, which makes it suitable for a wide range of people.

You’re likely a good candidate if you want to:

    • reduce lines in areas like the frown, forehead or around the eyes

    • prevent early lines from becoming established

    • lift the brows or open the eye area

    • manage jaw tension, teeth grinding or masseter bulk

    • smooth chin dimpling or refine lower-face expression

Botox might not be the best option if:

    • your lines are mainly caused by volume loss (filler or skin treatments may be more suitable)

    • your concerns are texturedullnesshydration or skin quality (skin boosters or polynucleotides work better)

    • you’re pregnant, breastfeeding or have certain medical contraindications

    • your expectations don’t match what Botox can safely achieve

At your consultation, our prescribers will guide you honestly and recommend alternative treatments if something else will give you a better outcome. The aim is always the most effective, safest and most personalised plan for your face.
